Academi Westend Academy is extremely proud of our history of fantastic productions that we have performed in over the years.

Our shows are performed every 18 months -2 years, as well as the school having the opportunity to be involved in many other performances.

All pupils – Dancin’ Dotz to Adults have the opportunity to take part in this very special experience which is developed to a high standard of choreography, costumes and production.

Our shows are the ideal way for pupils to show off what they have learnt in class and see the progression of each child in confidence and ability since previous shows.

Pupils are expected to maintain regular attendance in the run-up to the show and to attend ALL rehearsals and performances at the theatre. Failure to do so not only lets down their teachers but their class mates as well.

To take part in the show, pupils will be required to pay a costume hire fee for each dance they appear in and parents will be required to sign a consent form for their child to be involved.

Over the years, Academi Westend Academy has been lucky enough to be involved in:

• Performers on the Main Stage at numerous Carnivals and Crowning ceremony events
• The Wayne Sleep Workshop in Llandudno
• The Welsh Rugby Players Dance Programme for the Daily Post
• Numerous appearances for welsh children’s TV show ‘Uned 5’ on S4C
• Choreography by Natalie Robb on Welsh TV show Tipyn O Stad
• Choreography for Bangor Panto Youth Company
